Running for The Rooprai Spinal Trust

Amigo President Tim Drumhiller completed his 20th marathon yesterday in London! Tim ran the 33rd annual London Marathon on Sunday, April 21st. Along with more than 35,000 other runners, Tim ran 26.2 miles through the beautiful city of London as nearly half a million spectators looked on.

Tim's race also had a greater purpose -- he was part of a team of eight runners who fundraised in the months leading up to the event to benefit The Rooprai Spinal Trust. RS Trust is a UK-based spinal charity that provides support and resources for people with spinal cord injury. Together, the team raised more than $25,000 for RS Trust!

At the end of the race, Tim received a medal from Sir Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group and Virgin Airlines. Tim completed the race in just under three and a half hours -- a great time! We are so proud of Tim and the fundraising efforts of Team RS Trust!

The experienced and knowledgeable people atClubMatesrealise the importance of good quality care and support, and how a lack of it can potentially ruin a holiday. After all, passengers might be taken to the destination of their dreams, but it will never be a great holiday unless the right care and support is provided.
