Amigo Owner - Sister Karen Zielinski

Longtime Amigo owner Sister Karen Zielinski recently purchased a new Amigo RD. "My blue RD is beautiful! I am so grateful to get around with confidence," Sister Karen said.

Residing in Ohio, Sister Karen has been actively involved in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for more than 20 years, and has authored numerous books including Hope and Help for Living with Illness.

We are so glad Sister Karen is enjoying her new Amigo, and by the looks of it, her dog Ozzie is too!

MLK's Impact on the Disability Rights Movement

Known for his contribution to the Civil Rights Movement, Martin Luther King Jr. also paved the way for the Disability Rights Movement. Due to his tireless work, many laws and programs such as Medicare/Medicaid and building codes requiring equal access for all were established.

This month Amigo Mobility will be remembering, honoring and most of all, thanking Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for the countless contributions he made to better our society.

New Year's Resolution

"To share one kind deed, one smile and one hug every day!"

Amigo owner Darlyn Neubauer has made this her 2014 New Year's resolution.

Darlyn and her Amigo "Molly", love spending time teaching at elementary schools. As she put it, "Molly was God's gift to me...I would be very bored and cranky without it."

We hope everyone has been able to keep their resolutions alive so far!
